    Wanda M. Cate, 90, of Malvern passed away July 14, 2016. Wanda was born in Malvern, AR to Marvin and Calla Lily McCloud on July 5, 1926. She was a member of Third Baptist Church of Malvern. Wanda liked to cook, make jewelry and had a love for reading Westerns.

    Wanda is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Marcus Walton Cate, her parents, a daughter, two sisters, and 5 brothers.

    Wanda is survived by her son, Alan (Lori) Cate of Alexander 2 grandchildren, Paige (Chris) Shepard, Daniel (Callie) Cate and two great-grandchildren.

    Graveside Services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Shadowlawn Cemetery in Malvern. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any Alzheimer’s Research organization.

    Alan, Lori, Daniel, Paige, and precious family! My heart is crying for you! I loved Grand mom so much! She was so very special to me. Just know she's in that angel band playing that piano and raising the clouds! I am always here with open arms and a a shoulder for you all!
